Weight Gain And Loss
I started to try to lose weight about April time onwards this year (2017), as I wanted my weight down again before I was finally able to get married to my partner Stephanie.
Male Diet
However I had to cut mine down to around 1200 – 1400 cals a day which is working for me. The change of diet has also helped me health-ways as well!
A typical days food for me would be
Cereal + Milk 250 cals
Apple / Fruit 50cals
Sandwich with Tuna or Chicken 180 cals
Piece of Fruit 40 cals
Chicken Fillet / or small Steak 250 cals
Lots of veg: Broccoli / Cauliflower / Cabbage / Corn-on-the-cob / Asparagus etc 200 cals
More Fruit in the evening 150 cals
Total around 1100 cals
Which leaves free calories if you feel peckish or want a treat like a bar of chocolate etc!
This is a rough guide of what a typical days food is for me.
Other Effects of Diet
Since eating healthy with lots of fruit, veg, lean meat etc, my blood results have greatly improved. My liver is functioning well, my platelet count is way up, my varices have decreased, and my gastric problems have reduced.
…and by the way, I have no alcohol intake at all and I’m a non smoker!
